This means that we must ensure that the dog will trust us as their alpha-leader. How can we achieve this?

We have to behave in a way that the dog understands and that will give the dog rest. Amichien is the process in which we gain the dogs trust and confidence by acting as their alpha-leader. In our family situation, a dog must trust every family member as their alpha-leader. Therefore it is necessary that the whole family continuously acts as the alpha-leaders. You will have the confidence of your dog and the dog will choose you as its leader(s) on a voluntary basis. That means that your dog is much more restful and relaxed and most of the problem behaviour will disappear. Your relationship with your dog will be much more intense, as you and your dog understand and respect each other as friends.

Therefore I don’t train your dog like some other dog training courses, but I will teach you the language of the dogs. The result (and success) will depend on the extent you are acting in accordance with the dogs' language in a consistent way.
